The shape and size of the seat is a further factor to think about. You want the seat to be big enough for your child to be comfortable and allow them to lie down. Some three-wheel buggies offer an option to lie flat completely while others allow the parent to be facing one.

The way in which they are built means that the front wheels rotate at a quick pace and are really easy to maneuver, making them ideal for difficult terrains such as parks, cobbles and bumpy pavements as well as dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tested a 3 wheeler with her newborn and toddler and stated: "The Terrain was a delight to maneuver on the ground and the swivel front wheel being particularly helpful. I was also impressed with how well it dealt with kerbs, especially when using the hand-operated brake. I found it extremely stable when going downhill or on uneven ground."

The only drawback to this incredible mobility is that the 3 wheeler buggies wheel buggy's larger wheels do sometimes mean that it will be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces - something to keep in mind especially if you live in a city area. If this is an issue then a 4-wheel buggy may be a better choice for you.
