The name of the series suggests that the GE Profile series is aimed at those who wish to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into their kitchens. This refrigerator is packed with them, from an in-the-door Keurig K-cup coffee maker to a smart water dispenser. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Given that this fridge costs an extra amount, I'd like to see higher quality.

This refrigerator is a good choice, despite the small blip. It boasts a spacious freezer compartment, which is quite uncommon in counter-depth French door refrigerators. Furthermore, it can hold a decent amount of frozen food when as compared to similar models.

The fridge is equipped with 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is typical for a French-door refrigerator at this price. It has a decent-sized refrigerator with an ice maker in the left door. But it's not the biggest one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments to create a a custom storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is attractive. The LED lighting is a nice addition and the storage bins feature an additional shelf that folds down to allow you to store large items. The drawers are equipped with temperature controls so you can set them to Beverage, Meat or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to open and close however I found the plastic's textured coatings a bit hard on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes the all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range with Wi-Fi and app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in world, and has numerous options for customization. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the freezer or fridge must be defrosted and when the filter requires a change.

It would be nice it GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill which is a feature that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allows users to select how many cups they want to dispense. It also has a countdown feature on the fridge's display to display how much water you have left, but it's not as helpful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This refrigerator is ideal for a single household or a kitchenette that wants an attractive design and top of the highest quality food preservation.

However, they should be cleaned frequently to stop the growth of mold.

Inside, the refrigerator has the standard french door fridge no freezer-door layout, with gallon-sized bins for the doors on each door and two rows of spill-capture shelves, and a set of crisper drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more room. You'll also find a full-width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great things about this refrigerator is that the ice maker is inside the freezer, which makes it easy to transfer frozen ice to the fridge to use as needed. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, too, like sliding drawers to help you to organize the place of your items. It also has a large bin that can accommodate plenty of frozen food items as well as an container for storing ice.

Smart InstaView panel is another awesome feature of the refrigerator. It lets you control the fridge's temperature as well as lighting using your smartphone. It's an easy way to monitor your refrigerator and control it, particularly when you're away from home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't add to the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact, it took longer to defrost and chill food in this refrigerator as compared to other fridges we test. This is likely due to the greater capacity.

The doors are another problem with this fridge. The handles with a sunken design allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However, taller people still struggle to close them without slamming. It would have been better if they had front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a ideal choice for those who want to combine the benefits of a French-door refrigerator's aesthetics with an efficient layout. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a little less than the best counter depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, making it a great choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth french Door Fridge Deals Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good choice if you want a french door fridge deals-door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It's a minimalist design that's not as visually striking as some of the competition but it does have enough features to make it a good choice. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer helps to keep food like vegetables and meat fresher longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser and a decent Ice machine that is fast.

The "Chill Drawer", which is located above the two crisper bins, is a nice feature. The drawer allows you to divert a portion of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, so you can store foods that require extra attention. This feature can be adjusted by using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this to set a general cooling level for the whole fridge, though I've found that adjusting the general settings tends to produce better results than specific ones.

During my tests, the temperature of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across all areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the fridge didn't differ much from 38 degrees. This is a solid performance, but doesn't quite make it to the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also combine this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise measurements of your fridge's temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge proof" finish. It blocks streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tried.
