How Item Upgrade Can Be Your Next Big Obsession

Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements used.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an ideal way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item upgrader kit an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can put in an item to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for the track will be offered at a discount.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with a number Upgrade tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them additional effects or an increase in quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item upgrader mod.

The upgrade item to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
